Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Rihanna and more were honored at the 2020 NAACP Image Awards.
Some awards — including Beyoncé’s several honors for her achievements with Homecoming: The Live Album and The Lion King: The Gift, Lil Nas X’s Outstanding New Artist award and Lizzo’s win for best music video/visual album for “Juice” — were announced on Friday (Feb. 21).
Saturday (Feb. 22) drew many of the winners to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium for the ceremony, where Rihanna delivered an empowering acceptance speech upon receiving this year’s President Award and Lizzo was dubbed entertainer of the year.
