Jeff Pollack is one of the music industry’s top prognosticators of musical trends. His insight and revelations play a large role in determining what consumers see and hear over the airwaves. Under Jeff’s direction, since its 1980 inception, his Pollack Media Group has grown to one of the largest music and programming media advisory firms of its type with worldwide clients including MTV, VH1, CMT, National Geographic, Microsoft, radio stations, movie studios, magazines, new media businesses and television networks throughout the U.S., South Africa, Russia, Europe and elsewhere.
Most recently, Pollack was a Producer for Conde Nast’s “Movies Rock,” a celebration of music and film. The television special aired on CBS and featured Beyonce, Elton John, Mary J. Blige, will.i.am, Fergie and other artists.
Pollack was a Producer for Live Earth, Al Gore’s series of eight concerts held around the world to raise awareness for the global climate change crisis. The extravaganza included performances by the Police, Linkin Park, Dave Matthews, Kanye West and Bon Jovi.
Pollack also was a Producer for Westwood One’s simulcast of the U2 and Green Day performance that re-opened the New Orleans Superdome and benefited Music Rising.
Additionally, he was also an Executive Producer for Live 8, the groundbreaking worldwide event organized by Bob Geldof to raise awareness of poverty. An estimated 3 billion people watched and heard performances by U2, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Green Day and Jay-Z, among others.
Jeff acted as Executive in Charge of Talent for the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics. In 2003, Jeff was Music Consultant for Major League Baseball’s World Series. In 2004, Jeff served as Co-Producer for NBC's Apollo Theater 70th Anniversary Special.
Pollack’s career has included serving as Executive Producer of "Love Rocks," The Entertainment Industry Foundation's Humanitarian Award honoring Bono. Featured performers included No Doubt, Lauryn Hill, R.E.M., Cher, Drew Carey, Ray Romano, Kevin Nealon, plus guest appearances from Tom Cruise and Kevin Spacey.
In addition, Jeff served as Creative Music Consultant for the MGM TV series "Fame L.A.;" Music Correspondent for "Good Morning America;" Executive Music Consultant on Pavorotti's televised concert event for Bosnian war victims featuring U2, The Cranberries, and others; Co-producer of "Net Aid", the largest Internet event in history; Executive Producer of Quincy Jones' Lincoln Memorial pre-inauguration event, "Call to Reunion" on HBO; Co-Executive Producer of Billboard Music Awards, where he co-organized The First Century Award honoring George Harrison.

As a major force in radio’s global expansion, Pollack was special advisor in the launch of China’s first radio production and syndication venture; he signed on Prague’s and the Soviet Union’s first rock music station(s); he launched Europe's first cable audio channels in France; he signed on the first private radio station in Istanbul and the first FM station in New Zealand; and, he helped develop the growth of radio throughout Australia.
